It’s awesome looking. Better choice then most NY compliant options. I can have my pistol grip back . It does take some time to learn to use it bullets get stuck standing on base instead of side and takes awhile to clear. But I still recommend it
The AR-15 CompMag. New York Version.
The New York Version of the AR-15 CompMag. It loads the same as the California version except it does not include or accept any of the locking features the California version uses for compliance. New York compliance is different and requires a different solution, so we removed the CA. compliance parts and lowered the price. It can also be used in other states that do not require a fixed magazine.
It does not, by itself, make your firearm New York Compliant. You must add your own compliance device. For information on New York Compliance please read "Is the CompMag N.Y. Safe act compliant" at AR-15 CompMag Information.

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS:
Before using, please read the instructions and watch the videos found in the recent posts section on our home page, entitled "Loading and Unloading Your CompMag. Clearing Double Feeds.". This will help you better understand how the CompMag operates.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are using a device that disables the magazine release with a screw, do NOT tighten it down enough to squeeze the CompMag. Squeezing the CompMag with the magazine catch will result in rounds not being able to pass through the magazine. Always check functionality of the firearm and the ability for rounds and the follower to move through the magazine BEFORE using the epoxy to seal the screw. The CompMag is not compatible with the Mean Arms MA Lock, as it squeezes the CompMag.

So far I'm very happy with my AR CompMag. This is the best solution I've found to the NY Safe Act. And just today I ordered a CompMag for an AK47.
I ordered 2 magazines online and accidentally ordered the New York Compliance version of the magazine. The shipping person noticed that I ordered a NY model to a California address and contacted me immediately to confirm my order. Once we sorted out the model info my magazines arrived extremely quick and the product itself is outstanding. Living in California and owing AR style rifles this product was a godsend for me and I have used it multiple times with zero issue. Excellent product and even better customer service. It's the little things that distinguish businesses in my opinion and the customer service I received made me a customer for life. I would not hesitate to order something from this company again.
Loads easy, and rather easy to get use to the pattern of reloads. However during the intial testing of 100rd several times did I have feed issues from the magazine. The malfunction seems to happen about half way through the magazine were the spring fails to push the follower up to successfully load the next round. By pushing the magazine charging handle up during this malfunction remedy it. 3 out 5 for the constancy of this failure. Besides that solid product.
They feed all types of AR15 ammo, easy to load. A great alternative to feeding a fixed mag.
When I started looking for solutions to the New York and California nonsense there were many products but all seemed similar in design and purpose. Your approach is awesome with its design and execution. The magazine has worked flawlessly and has had no issues. It’s so easy to reload that it makes it almost bareable to deal with my states nonsense (almost). But your design and build is much appreciated and has made me a new loyal customer of yours. I will be sending more customers your way!
